Fear Free Scent Work

We’re incredibly proud to bring Fear Free Scent Work Solutions by Dog Peeps to the North-West Coast; a thoughtfully designed, dog led program that places emotional safety, choice, and wellbeing at the centre of learning.

This offering is delivered in collaboration with Renae and the team from Dog Peeps, whose work, ethics, and dedication to Fear Free education we deeply respect. It is an absolute honour to partner with them and to bring their program, knowledge, and heart to our community. Programs like this don’t just happen, they’re built on trust, shared values, and a commitment to doing better for dogs.

Scent work is a powerful activity that allows dogs to engage with the world through their strongest sense in a way that is calming, confidence building, and deeply fulfilling. When delivered through a Fear Free lens, it becomes so much more than a concept for learning. It becomes a space where dogs can think, explore, and succeed without pressure or expectation.

These Fear Free Scent Work sessions are intentionally designed to be:

  • dog led and focused on confidence, curiosity and consent based

  • emotionally safe and non-confronting

  • supportive of sensitive, anxious, or overwhelmed dogs

    Dogs are encouraged to work at their own pace, communicate their needs, and take breaks when they choose. Success looks different for every dog, and that’s not just accepted here, it’s celebrated!

This program represents a first Fear Free Scent Work for the coast; delivered with a level of care, expertise education, and ethical consideration that aligns with our commitment to whole dog wellbeing. It reflects our ongoing dedication to raising standards, expanding opportunities, and creating safer learning spaces for dogs and their people.

Foundation 6-week course for $210.00 incl. learning theory in the first week.
Sessions run for approximately 2 hours where each dog works individually and then rolling classes at $35.00 each.
